TOKA（読：トウカ）は小袋成彬とYaffleによって創設された、東京とロンドンにオフィスを構えるクリエイティブチームです。アートプロジェクトを通じて社会に新しい価値を提供し、持続可能な文化資産を創るビジネスをサポートいたします。

　2021年より、株式会社Tokyo Recordingsは株式会社TOKAに生まれ変わりました。

　TOKAという名前は、主にキク科の植物に見られる花の部分、通称「頭花」に由来しています。たとえばタンポポや向日葵などの花は、一見すると一つの大きな花のように見えて、実は多数の小花が集まって一つの花を成しています。その美しい花の咲き方から、ひとりひとりの小さなクリエイティブを合わせることで大きな花を咲かせようという願いを込めて、TOKAと名付けられました。

　特にキク科の分類群は、地球上で最も進化し最も分化しており、日本のみならず世界中で愛されている植物です。誰かの小さなアイデアの種を大切に育て、多様性を祝い、関わるすべての人が創造的になれるような会社を目指します。

TOKA is a creative team founded by Nariaki Obukuro and Yaffle, to support businesses in creating sustainable cultural assets and offering new value to society through art projects.

The name TOKA in Japanese is derived from the term "capitulum," which is mainly found in plants of the Asteraceae family. Flowers such as dandelions and sunflowers may appear to be one large flower at first glance, but they are actually composed of numerous small flowers. Inspired by the beauty of how these flowers bloom, TOKA is named with the aspiration to bring together the small creatives of each individual to create a beautiful, larger whole.

The Asteraceae family, in particular, is one of the most evolved and diversified plant groups on Earth, loved not only in Japan but worldwide. We aim to nurture the seeds of someone's small ideas, celebrate diversity, and create a company where everyone involved can become more creative.
